"From small beginnings 11 years ago this award winning event has become one of the most recognised swap meets in Queensland and in the world of swap meets and has been continually attracting in excess of 4000 visitors from far and wide each year," organiser Kris West said."With the help of generous local businesses donating and sponsoring our event, the artists and people involved donating their time, help make the day a huge success with all money raised going back to our local community," she said.
After browsing through the swap site and after the kids have finished enjoying the rides and the Shannons Super Rig experience, why not sit back and relax with the family, have some delicious food, maybe a drink from the bar and spend the day enjoying the music with the added comfort of the shade marquees to keep you cool and out of the sun.
The car and bike show attracts about 50 entrants from Queensland and interstate, showing the finest collection of classic/vintage cars and bikes.
Spokeswoman Kris West said the event was not just a car and bike enthusiast's heaven; it was filled with something for everyone.
Gates will open at 7am with a huge variety concert starting at 9am and winding up at 3pm.
With an entry fee of for adults and children under 12 years old free, the swap meet will be a great day out for all the family.
